    1. The reflection on the water looks like it must have taken hours to draw, and yet only one pedestrian that is visible in the photo is looking.

    2. I really enjoyed the photo and how it looks slightly deep and the ripples that the man makes look real. I wish I could draw like that. Awesome photo Mrs.Hardie.

    1. That makes me feel like I,'m going to fall, but the edges where the concrete meets the pit look kind of cartoonish.

    3. I find this piece of art absolutely mesmerizing. I would love to see this kind of sidewalk art in person to see if the effect is different. The artist succeeds at manipulating the brain of the audience to believe that they are looking at a 3D image while in reality it is a flat drawing.

    4. I like how this picture is very detailed and also how they changed the color of the water sort of like a rainbow, it looks almost exactly how I would imagine it to look if there was a hole in the ground and a cave below.

    6. This art is amazing and creates an extra 3-D image within a 3-D image- the street with the people acting in the picture. The detailing where the water fall begins is impressive and probably will look the same at different points of view. This is a great example of perspective, showing that two objects of different dimensions can create the same image

    7. That's really impressive, but the bottom of the chasm doesn't look very realistic. It looks more like something pulled out of a low-budget horror film.

    8. wow im glad im not afraid of height where the chasm meets the concrete is really cool. I somewhat agree with nour though. Joshua Sucec

    9. This looks amazing except for the bottom though. i feel like i could fall straight in. I wonder if it would have the same affect if i saw it in person. I agree with the two above it look kinda cheesy. Kretschmer M

    1. I really liked your photo or image because you could see some parts of the square closed and some parts open. So many perspectives can occur in the image you have chosen Nordin S.

    2. I really really like this drawing. It's very clever, and it hurts my head if I even try to begin to imagine how someone could draw that. My head is spinning just thinking about it. What strikes me as the most interesting feature of the picture is how the artist uses shadow to make the illusion work.

    1. I find this chalk drawing so fascinating! I wonder how our brains can be tricked in this manner so that our eyes and brain perceive images as 3D when in reality they are only 2D. This kind of art really plays with our depth perception.

      Thapar, I

    2. I think this street chalk is amazing because of 'the way the artist can make it look as if the boat were floating on top a river that leads to a waterfall. The 3D effects is really captivating in the way that the artist designed a waterfall that bends and flows in what looks like a downward slope.

    1. That picture is funny because of the interpretations of all of the characters, and how the father's perspective is that the child is not very high off of the ground, the child's perspective is that he is pretty far off of the ground, but just enough so that it is fun, and the mother's perspective is that the child is going to fall and get hurt because the father is throwing the child too far off of the ground.

      Andersen, K

      Delete
    2. That goes very well with the theme of perspective. The things we experience in life can be completely different, it's all in the way you think about it.

      Delete
    3. I think it's funny how each one of the family member has a different point of view. For example; the mom looks at it like the kid is farther away from the dad when thrown in the air because for her its like so dangerous so she thinks he's gonna fall or something. But then the kid looks at it like an exciting thing so he thinks it's higher in air but funner. And then the dad looks at it normally because he's the one who can actually know how far he's throwing the kid.

      Delete
    4. The picture you posted is funny, because the mother is seeing the baby flying high, while the child sees himself not that high, while the dad is like "oh I can catch him"
      Nguyen R.

      Delete
    5. The picture is humorous and light-hearted, yet shown in different moods, depending on which character you look into. The mother is worried, the baby is worried about himself and the father is completely relaxed about the baby, almost careless about the baby flying. Different moods are shown, yet all of the perspectives viewed are funny.

      Nemoto. D.

    6. I love this picture, because it perfectly depicts the relationships but is also funny. I think that one thing that would improve the picture is if it had a picture of the reality of the situation. But I think the father is correct.

    1. I think that it is funny that the rhinoceros thinks that his/her horn is part of the landscape, even though we know that it is not. The rhino just paints it because that is her perspective of all of the pictures.

      Andersen, K

      Delete
    2. I find this funny because sometimes when people paint, the paint what they see (the landscape). The rhino thinks his horn is just part of the landscape, because that's what he sees.

    1. I like your choice because it shows that everyone sees life from a different perspective. Even though we look at things differently, it does not make a particular viewpoint more accurate than the other.

    3. This picture is an good picture for perspective because the angle each person sees is different, so what they think is different. This can relate to us because what we see can look different to other people, so we all have our own perspective.

    1. This picture shows that perceptions can be wrong. We may assume that a person is bald because he or she likes the style but in fact it may be a cancer survivor or a soldier. Perceptions can motivate reactions. Therefore, it may be better to know a person before forming an opinion. Perhaps, this is the reason that in most situations, different people have different reactions.

this picture shows that while you think you are looking down you are actually looking at a sidewalk.
I also like Mrs. Hardie's because it is cool how they make it look like you are looking at a boat on a puddle.

I also like Ryan's becuase it looks like you are looking up at a building that is tilting over
